Clashing Symbols

The cowboy priest, Father Roy Snipes, is the protector of the 153-year-old chapel called La Lomita in Mission, Texas.  La Lomita sits steps away from the Rio Grande and the administration wants to either tear it down or build the wall behind it trapping it between the river and it’s congregation.  Father Roy is leading the opposition to the wall construction that is “a hateful symbol and a huge waste.”
